【英語科】Hello, everyone!!

 

Hello, everyone.

My name is James Modlin and I am the English conversation instructor here at Shukutoku SC.

This is my fourth year at the school and my eighth year teaching in Japan.

 

A message to all English conversation students:

Mistakes are OK! You learn from mistakes. Mistakes help you improve.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes when speaking English.

Effort is more important than accuracy in my class.

About me: My hometown is Richmond, Virginia in the USA.

It’s near the ocean and I grew up eating crab and other seafood. It’s all very delicious!

In my free time I like traveling, reading, watching TV, and enjoying life in Japan.

Also, we will have English club on Mondays after 6th period

and “Coffee Break English” Tuesdays during lunch time in the lounge on the first floor.
